The cast delivers a strong performance, with Kane Hodder being the most intimidating villain. The dialogue is hilarious and tongue-in cheek that it could feel (click blogs) like a classic '80s horror film. There are moments of humor in the movie which add humour to bloody action.

Because the budget was one million dollars, the majority of locations were reused from previous movies. The house on the lake used twice in the movie was a prime instance. Much of this feels like it was recycled from other films within the series. It's almost like it's familiar to those who've seen Hatchet or Hatchet 2.

Overall, Hatchet 3 was an enjoyable show. I liked the gory thrills it provided and the entertaining performances by its actors.
